Datuk R.nadarajah sent me a notice of defamation
Datuk R. Nadaraja, the chairman of SRI MAHA MARIAMMAN TEMPLE DHEVASTHANAM sent me a notice of defamation through his lawyers ZAR & ASSOCIATES alleging that I tarnished his good name in the eye of public and temple devotees. That my allegation has given negative perception of Datuk R.Nadaraja and his management, in the eyes of public and temple devotees.
Datuk R.Nadaraja wants me to make a written public apology and compensate him for the loss and damages suffered by him within 48 hours failing which his lawyers will commence legal proceedings against me.
I would like to categorically state that I did not issue any press statement to media or Malaysia Nanban newspaper dated 30/10/2012 as alleged by DatukR.Nadaraja’s lawyer. The press report must be written following my speech in a Tamil Cheramah in Teluk Intan on 28/10/2012 night.
In the Ceramah (rally) I questioned Datuk R.Nadarajah as to how is that he don’t know about this project and that only now he is raising this matter to the public? The 5 storey building is completed and that the big sign board is already displayed at the construction site all this while. Why is he raising the matter now?
Even now I am asking the same question as to how is that he didn’t know about the 29 storey condominium when there is a big sign board in display and the 5 Storey building commencing from 2007 is already completed.
Batu Cave temple is a public place of worship that close and dear to all Hindus in Malaysia. This matter is talked about everywhere in Malaysia. What I asked is what everyone is asking. Datuk R.Nadaraja as a chairman of a public place of worship should respond and provide information and not sue those who question.
